Our Purpose
To bring youth to have fun and make a difference in our church and local community.

To provide services to and encourage fellowship in the church.

To gain a better understanding of our Maronite faith.

To set good examples and become role models for younger members of our church, and the community.

Attend the youth conferences and retreats.

Maronite Young Adults

The Maronite Young Adults (MYA) is a community for ages 18–34 that brings together young people in faith, culture, and fellowship.

Our mission is to strengthen spiritual growth, deepen knowledge, and celebrate our Maronite heritage while building meaningful friendships. Through prayer, discussions, and cultural activities, members are encouraged to live their faith with joy and purpose. MYA also organizes social events, volunteer opportunities, and service projects, giving young adults a place to belong, grow, and contribute to the wider community. Open to all who share the values and spirit of the Maronite Church, MYA inspires its members to be leaders of today and role models for tomorrow.

Religious Education Program

Our Church offers religious education for pre-K through high school. From late September through May, the program occurs on Sundays after the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM

Religious education is an essential part of preparation for first communion, the Holy Mysteries, and full participation in the life of the parish. The Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles has developed a unique curriculum, Faith of the Mountain, to ensure our youth are catechized in the Maronite tradition and with respect to the pastoral norms of the Maronite church.

To begin the process of enrolling your child in religious education, please contact the parish by using the form below or by emailing: stjosephmaronitechurch@gmail.com
